BUDGET IS FOR LABOR AND MATERIALS, This site automatically sets it to “labor only.” The concrete top was demoed and dropped in the hole. The crew that did the demo then left the job site. Essentially what the customer wants is some kind of stopper in the middle with a footer, and a new concrete top poured. The house foundation and perimeter wall are in good shape. 2x8 supports will be needed, as will rebar. 3/4in plywood to hold the concrete as it dries. The front steps shown also need rebuilt with brick and sandstone. He’d like that bottom step that is currently concrete to also be brick and sandstone. Permits have been pulled and I do have a drawing that was approved by the city, which I will share if we can agree on numbers and a start date.
