This job is for the removal and replacement of two wall-mounted kitchen cabinets in Garfield Heights...... Each cabinet is 36 inches wide by 12 inches deep by 30 inches high. The wall area above the kitchen sink is about 6 feet wide by 2.5 feet tall. The scope of work includes removing the existing cabinets, checking and repairing the wall behind them if necessary, picking up the new unfinished cabinets and paint from Home Depot, painting them, and installing them using the original matching knobs. The home is currently tenant-occupied..... The job steps are as follows: (1) Meet me at the local Home Depot to pick up the new cabinets and paint, which I will purchase. (2) Take the cabinets to your own workspace (shop, garage, or basement) and paint them using the provided paint. You must remove the cabinet doors and hardware before painting. You will need to supply your own tools, paint brushes or rollers, and any necessary materials. (3) Remove both of the old cabinets from the kitchen wall and save the four matching pull knobs for reuse. (4) Inspect the wall behind the cabinets for any issues that could interfere with installation, and make minor repairs if needed. (5) Install the four original knobs onto the new cabinets after they are painted. (6) Install both of the newly painted cabinets in place above the kitchen sink. (7) Clean up your work area and place the old cabinets and any debris outside the home. I will haul away and dispose of any debris you place outside..... I will pay for both of the unfinished cabinets, the paint, and supply the hardware—matching knobs and screws—for this job. However, you will need to meet me and pick them up at the local Home Depot. Thank you.
